How do you understand mathematics, which is an abstract science? I feel strange. I do not mean the use of mathematics in physics and other fields. I mean mathematics as an abstract science, for example, what will we benefit from the absolute value of x

It's like a puzzle or a game, fun to do for its own sake. Granted your taste may vary.

so what is the best way to learn mathematics?
P53956 link reply
I don't know if I can say what the best way is. But a pleasant way is to find a topic that interests you and read textbooks about it. You can pirate textbooks online at Library Genesis, or if you prefer physical copies, find a nearby university library. As you read you should also be thinking. For example, a textbook might present a theorem and then a proof of the theorem, and you might try seeing if you can prove the theorem yourself based on what you know so far, before reading what they wrote.

I'd encourage skipping around to things you find interesting instead of trying to read books straight through. If you're missing prerequisite knowledge, then you should find out very quickly, but now you have a reason to want to know the prerequisite knowledge.

Well, thank you, I think that will help me

I have mathematicians in my lineage, mathematics knowledge are basically flowing through my blood

mathematics is based on concrete reality, but if you consider it abstract, then you need to touch grass

sense of acomplishment due to you finding an answer; that may not be useful as of now, but it shall assist you and/or your descendants in the future, even if that future may take a while
