P41813 Week 7: May we continue with some thread data link reply
For the last week, (from the 1st of May till the 7th of May) there were a total of a nice round 177 logged actions. Going up a notch, with 12of7 returning and lain seemingly slacking behind. Breaking it down by account:

admin|152
lain|23
12of7|2

and by action type:

multistep|87
move_to_board|84
ban_files|2
set_overboard_exclude|1
redact_text|1
redact_links|1
move_to_thread|1

Nothing much to report on, other than 12of7 returning and lain's fraction compared to admin dropping off.

Now onto some statistics about the posting activity. For this week there were a total of 618 posts made, 287 not including the 3 boards. (88.29 PPD around the same as 4chan's /i/ right now, or 41 PPD filtered, yet again around the same as 4chan's /w/). The thread that got the most replies this week was P41148 at 65 (/spam/ thread, moved from /tech/). P21051 (same as before, /spam/ thread) 2nd place at 31 replies, and tailing by 1 post P38989 ("the ***** ecosystem", /misc/) coming in 3rd place like last week at 30 replies. The eternal age of consent thread really does seem to be eternal.

As to present the new thread data, the top 5 boards per posts were

spam|161
misc|141
free|126
tech|64
meta|31

(/loli/ 6th place at 20).
And per threads, the most popular boards were

spam|56
free|56
misc|6
tech|3
meta|3

There was also 11 (roughly the same as last week) posts made by moderators, broken down:

12of7|7
admin|3
lain|1

So Yuki continues his hiatus with 12of7 getting back, with admin doing surprisingly only 3 posts this week. I should mention that 12of7 is now taking a break returning back from time to time.

"important" /meta/ threads:

The "recruiting moderators" thread:
- admin posts that /Guide/ was updated again to clarify the role of moderators. More specifically of "quality-control" falling outside of their power regarding a move
- lain responds with "Acknowledged and point taken"
total of 7 new posts

The "Suggestions thread" thread:
no news posts

The "Moderation requests / ***** reports" thread:
no news posts

I don't know where to put this, but Historicalfag has left for a part of the week due to self-reported flu, you can see that clearly with lain's moderation actions stagnating and if you look hard enough you can see posting numbers take a hike up when he returns.

As usual, attached are graphs for last week's moderation activities, posing activity, and updated all-time chart for both. The all-time charts have their y-axis scaled to the natural logarithm to make them legible. The dates for the weekly chart are in the format of "month/day" and "year/month" for the all-time. Also keep in mind that these are cumulative graphs that don't draw the lines till the very end, only connecting the dots.

Currently, thinking about removing the weekly posters graph as it's not that informative, and maybe add a graph breaking down posts per board in its place. It'll be weekly as there are 179 boards ~3/4th having 1-2 threads and a bit more than 3/4th having 5 posts at maximum, stuff like /green/ /survival/ or /avif/ tho the last one is cool. This would clutter and all-time graph in the colors, in the lines, in the legend. A possible solution could be to just cut them out and focus on >100 post boards (21 in total, >100 is only 6, in order /free/ /spam/ /misc/ /tech/ /meta/ /test/), but I'll see.

P44985 #Week 10: Rent free on this board, into the double digits link reply
For the last week, (from the 22nd of May till the 28th of May) there were a total of 318 logged actions. Now with Hachikuji making an appearance. Both Yuki and 12of7 are absent both from moderation and posting, but Hachikuji is seemingly active.

admin|302
lain|13
Hachikuji|3

and by action type:

multistep|244
move_to_board|70
move_to_thread|2
ban_files|2

A nice note is that the move types are mostly getting consolidated into "multistep", so not that many ***** spam seems to be going around for now.

Now onto some statistics about the posting activity. For this week there were a total of a record 1063 posts made, that number is 435 not including the 3 boards. (total 152.14 PPD close to 4chan's /xs/ right now, or 62.14 PPD filtered, close to 4chan's /3/). The thread that got the most replies this week (excluding spam) was P35216 at 39 (/blog/ LRH diaries). P43901 (/tech/ based and redpilled live chat) 2nd place at 30, and P P41883(/blog/ FaggotChan thread) coming in 3rd place at 27 replies.

As to present the thread data, the top 5 boards per posts made were:

spam|472
misc|202
tech|129
free|108
meta|34

With blog being left out at 6th place with 27 posts. And per most threads made, the most popular boards were:

spam|182
free|12
misc|10
tech|5
test|3

Though keep in mind that number for /spam/ is because of moderator moves.
There was also only 11 posts made by moderators, all by admin

admin|11

Now onto the weekly meta news segment?
The main change in the lambda landscape this week was still arguably historicalfag as his posts are now getting moved to /spam/ rather than simply /free/.

"important" /meta/ threads:

The "recruiting moderators" thread:
- "policy update: spam is really spam"
- admin removes ability to move to /free/ instead starts mass-moving historicalfag's spam
- moves should be done in groups of 3+ posts/2+ threads, posts with lots of images/text are an exemption
- posts that contribute to the conversation still shouldn't be moved
- admin walks back on the grouping, posts can be moved in any quantity to /spam/
total of 6 new posts

The "Suggestions thread" thread:
- anon suggests for refferenced by footer notes to be hide replies that got moved to /spam/
- admin suggests a strikethrough or lower opacity font rather than removing it outright
- conversation ensues with CSS getting posted as example
total of 10 new posts

The "Moderation requests / ***** reports" thread:
- anon asks if a posts violates the "no posts advocating for the murder of *****ren" rule
- admin responds stating that it is /pol/schizo, but a brief comment is fine. In any case he'll move it when it gets extensive
- discussion with idolfag about identities
total of 8 new posts

As usual, attached are graphs for last week's moderation activities, posing activity, and updated all-time chart for both. The all-time charts have their y-axis scaled to the natural logarithm to make them legible. The dates for the weekly chart are in the format of "month/day" and "year/month" for the all-time. This week there are rough approximations for other avatarfags, namely FaggotChan, MK32, and Historicalfag (marked by "/free/"). As move reason was nested within JSON of a field, I went by simply selecting posts that ended up in free.

I felt like they were getting incredibly repetitive and the only engagement I got was historicalfag. Ideally, I'd want to have something akin to a monthly magazine that shows the stats and moderation happenings. The limitation to that one is twofold. Firstly, I don't have full SQL expertise to do all the stuff I'd want to (or better said, I did not have them then) and the codebase to generate the stats and the graphs is a bit of a mess. Secondly, I'm not sure if I have the time and effort to deliver on this consistently.
But this was indeed something I liked doing, so I will try to make one for November. Took the time to regenerate [spoiler: and debug] the data, so here are some all time plots, you can actually see activity went down for the summer. Also, not sure if anyone noticed, but koishi seems to have "returned" 5 days ago to move P60408 to /spam/.

>not that guy
I swear I read "lainjanny".
I've seen him before once more than a year ago. I doubt he is here anymore.
>more info?
The site is run by historicalfag, he complains about admin's software from time to time.
The CSS cycles between some preset, some are added from time to time.
