I think in the last days of nanochan there was a poster who did some gunsmith work and has his own site, of course I don't know if he was legit but at least it was interesting to see that people do something besides the big marketplaces. bet.i2p is also cool. Some more blogs would also be nice, unless they are also available from clearnet. But stuff besides blogs would seem even more interesting to me.

my sources were russian manuals, official documents, some guy's personal gunsmithing site and reddit (iirc I used a reddit user's blueprint basis of the receiver (AK47_Receiver.xcf file in the tar archive; printable blueprint is AKM-pe-hartie.xxx - multiple formats to choose from) which I verified via the original russian documentation that I found, which at the time seemed to have the correct proportions, I will eventually do a different blueprint for an even better receiver for both an AK-based rifle (probably using the AK-200 series as basis due to the zero-able dustcover (because you can actually put mountable sights on the dustcover without losing zero due to an extra locking mechanism), unlike the AK-100 series which has the standard dustcover locking mechanism that's also used on the AK-74), as well as a different personal project - bolt-action sniper-rifle with a x5-x50 scope that can engage enemies to distances of up to 5km with the round flying at over 600m/s at the point of impact)

I didn't attempt researching or calculating aanything for that project as I mostly endulged in escapism via Ready or Not, Arma 3, Escape from Tarkov and Youtube videos

once I get my thousand page journal (gonna be 1000 pages of A4 80g printer paper, gonna weigh 8kg and a lil bit due to the fact that I use a cardboard cover (basically 200g coloured paper) sewn the same way that my pages are gonna be sewn - photo for reference - making it a good enough attempt for a journal as I won't use any other covers and will just have a simple sandwich cover instead of a taco cover as I don't want to go the extra mile of having it completely covered as I'll put it in long term storage in a climate tempered environment (silica bag in a sealed box put in a cooler place of the house till later review and analysis with different lenses) once I'm done with it) I'll most prolly kickstart the process of bettering myself (building the muscle and strenght necessary for my 100-100-30-50 test) as well as equipping myself with all the gear and tools that I'll need, as well as making the equipment and resources that I'll use later down the line, more or less
resources can still be found naturally, but they are easily dried out if not careful with the ammounts consumed

I don't have a specific ETA for when I'll be starting my rehabilitation process, nor have a specific ETA for when I'll be starting my project, tho all I can say is that day one will start with the sun and will end with the sun, while the night will be just dark all around and I won't really have a reference point (atm) for when time passes except for how bored or how much stuff I've done and I wouldn't be able to use the moon as a reference point as it doesn't go around as quickly as the sun (I won't use any specific timestamps, only vague ones (i.e last third of the day, first third of the night) as I rush towards thinking about a project then burning time when I'm constrained to do between hour xxxx and hour yyyy

I used the same journal to make a list of movies I watched and a few lines to review them, then a list of room sprays that I used and my thoughts on them, then a list of pills that I took, then a list of "anxiety coping techniques", then a list of songs I had, then a bucket list of things I wanted to do... I wish I could come up with a system where I can just use ONE SINGLE BOOK for everything that doesn't have the word "bullet" in it. Right now all I am doing is "today", "tomorrow", "some day" and "notes" which makes me live... nah... survive just today and tomorrow. I decided to divide my journal in 4 sections, 3 modifiable ones and the 4th would be for notation standards and other standards that I'll use across the journal

in the 3 modifiable ones I have the following:
- Exercise [spoiler:push-ups, pull-ups, squats, runs/sprints] & Personal Health [spoiler:hygiene, what hurts, what's stronger, what changed]
- Daily Logs [spoiler:(most) interesting stuff that happened during the day that may assist my future self in development or knowing what to look for in different categories of life] & Ideas [spoiler:PCBs, electronics and maintenance of them in general, SITREPs on different projects, ToDo lists (I deeply consider making this a separate modifiable part, but I can keep tabs via bookmarks and such), arhiterctural/design ideas (with small drawing that are very relevant), etc etc]
- Drawings [spoiler:blueprints, arhitecture, doodles, flowers, nature; will get marked with "figure x" and mentoned in the former modifiable section]

for the exercise one, my goal is to get 20 more push-ups and squats (through the entire day) than the previous day until my arms fail (squats are easier and I won't do them till my legs fail cuz that's retarded), then I'll give myself a 3 day rest where I'll eat lots of protein-rich and fiber-rich foods to assist in muscle development (my goal is to complete my 100-100-30-50 test; preferably by the end of August, where I'll dumb school and live in da woods or something lol)

What you need is a todo list, in my case its a pocket calendar where I have a few lines for each day. I write down when I think of something that needs to be done today/tomorrow/some other day in the future and look at it every now and then. It just takes a glance to see what I still need to do and this way you won't forget it. Since I have been doing this I usually have the things I need to do in my mind anyway because once you have seen the list a couple of times you can remember it automatically.
